If your purchased video content has (5.1/7.1) surround sound, but you have stereo speakers, then almost all of the dialog will be for the Center channel, which may not exist in your setup.

The solution is then to configure Apple TV to output audio in Stereo format, or to configure your audio system to downmix to stereo (if it has settings for that).

Every other tv show and movie works. This new purchase from Apple TV only plays the background music while voices and sound effects are muted or silent. Every show in the season is the same. Since I just downloaded it, I requested a refund and got it.

A music track will only include audio, yes.
