Anyone any idea why the Apple TV keeps requiring me to re-enter my password every couple of weeks? It does offer me "settings" or "not now" but choosing "not now" generally leads to the "accept free trial" issue fairly quickly.
I've entered my password, surely it should be able to store it?
On what device do you have the Apple TV app in which the credentials are not stored?
The app is intended to store credentials indefinitely, until you sign out of the app, or reset the app, or delete (and re-install) the app, or changed your password outside the app. If you didn’t do any of those actions, then the issue may be in app privileges aka privacy settings for the device; perhaps apps on this device need to be granted permission to store credentials long term.
It's an Apple TV box, tvOS 18.6.
It's not apps I think because I've no issue with Disney nor Netflix etc (all on same box) - just accessing Apple Tv.
