Safari does retain "Remember this browser" data, and websites have to send a login code repeatedly
I am having a persistent problem with Safari on Sequoia 15.7.1(and prior versions). When I log into some websites(generally financial ones), Safari provides my valid username and password, but the sites want to send a login code to my phone....every single time, even though I check the "Remember this browser" box every time. Just to be clear- it's not a username/password issue, it's that the site thinks it's a new browser login. This happens on numerous different sites, and it has to send a text each time. The real problem is that I will be doing some extended traveling overseas next year and may or may not have the phone number these sites have on file for me. I should just be able to check "Remember this browser" and not need an additional security code sent to my phone for a very long time...if ever again. It worked fine on Chrome on my old Windows PC but has been a persistent problem on Safari on my Mac. I had happen 3 times on the same site this morning after logging out and needing to log back in,
Is anyone else experiencing this, or better yet, does anyone know how to fix this problem?
Thanks.
