Problem removing LG Monitor Software

Help me remove a program from my Mac Mini - please!

Ive just got a new Mac Mini, a 2tb external SSD and an LG Monitor. When I first plugged the monitor in the resolution was terrible, so I did a quick search and downloaded a program “LG Calibration Studio” from the LG website.

Turns out I just needed a restart and the picture was great.

The LG Software is driving me insane - I just want to delete it…

I’ve tried the usual - trash can, App Cleaner, deleting it via the Terminal.

I’ve force quit the program before attempting to delete it but always get an error message:

”the operation can’t be completed because some items had to be skipped…”

Thanks for the reply.

Yes - they did but it didn’t work.

I think i might have solved this now, I went into all the sub folders and via the “get info” individually unlocked the permissions and then was able to delete them.

Use Utilities > Activity Monitor

Select the app

click on the "i" in the circle at the top

In the new Window > Quit

If you see it in your Dock you can also right click on it, go to options and quit or force quit it there.

I don't actually have it so I am presuming it acts like other apps.

Did LG provide an uninstaller feature, either in the app itself or as a second app?

I can't find an uninstaller app. And I can't close the LG app--clicking the X in the top right doesn't close it. I get the message that it "can't be moved to Trash because the app is open".
