iPhone Messages Paste Menu Missing

it appears that the iPhone Messages paste menu is missing. this happens with both text and images. how can i paste something to my iPhone from my Mac now? i have to type it in!?

If the Universal Clipboard is not working, check your set up and settings: Use Universal Clipboard to copy and paste between your Apple devices - Apple Support.

If everything looks right, turn off Handoff on all your devices, restart them and turn Handoff back on.

If this is still not fixing the issue, disconnect your Apple Account on the devices, restart them and reconnect your account.

That's odd, copying and pasting is working fine today between my Mac (macOS Sequoia 15.7.2) and my iPhone (iOS 26.1).

There is no risk trying what I mentioned.

Edit: just restarting your devices might be sufficient to fix the issue.

Thanks. But I think there may be a bug. A friend at work is experiencing the same problem. Neither of us has changed anything related to Handoff (or anything else for that matter). It started happening yesterday out of nowhere and unrelated to anything I might have changed. The day before that and all days prior it was working fine. Then suddenly it stops working for no apparent reason. That was my coworker’s experience as well.
