Apple ID password reset stuck on new iPhone
I bought a new iPhone, I transferred all the contents from my old iPhone and everything went ok.
Then I was asked to enter my appleID password, I did and it wouldn't recognise it, so I clicked on forget the password, it allowed me to reset the password from my macbook, I did that, then tried to access again through the phone and the new password wouldn't work either.
Then I clicked forgot the password again, this time the phone asked me to enter my backup phone number, I did that, got a code, entered the code on the phone and it just showed me a message with a loading spinner saying "verifying" but it would stay stuck at that without any further progress.
I cancelled that and tried a couple more times and now I just see a screen that says:
Password reset requested
We are evaluating your information to determine when you will be able t reset your password.
By this time tomorro we will contact you at <my email address> to let you know when your wait time will be complete. Please note that Apple support cannot reduce your wait time.
You can check the status of your request at iforgot.apple.com
I haven't received any notification yet and I cannot access iforgot.apple.com because obviously it won't accept my password.
What can I do?
