Log in on a child account. Not a new account

My son seems to has been logged out from his apple-account (apple Id) after his last upgrade. How can I get him logged in again? He has a childaccount and I can’t find out how to do neither on his phone or with mine.

The same way you would yours on your device. Read this support article to learn how to sign in with an Apple Account on various kinds of devices --> Sign in to your Apple Account on the web or in your device settings - Apple Support

For an Apple Mobile device:

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Tap Sign in to your [device].

3. Enter your Apple ID and password.

4. If prompted, enter the six-digit verification code sent to your trusted device or phone number and complete sign in.

● If an app or feature on a device is not working, not appearing, or is restricted (grayed out), a frequent reason is it may have been disabled using Screen Time (usually by a parent), or by a technology administrator if it is a device owned by an employer or educational institution.

Tap the Settings app > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > scroll to Accounts > tap Allow Changes and turn on.

- If the device is managed (check: Settings > General > VPN (or Profiles & Device Management), contact the technology department of the organization that is doing the managing.

To test for this, remove the VPN entirely, don’t just turn it off.
