Mac Mini (apple M4) running Sequoia 15.6.1 is not staying connected to external monitor via HDMI. Works for a while and then disconnects.
Reconnects only after un-powering the mini and rebooting

First step is to try a new cable.
Follow the Previous advice for a higher qualify and shorting lengthen HDMI Cable
Often times, Manufacturers will include a 2 M ( 6 foot ) lower qualify cable
From personal experience using a Asus 27 " VP 278 Display, it came with one of these inferior cables
Switched for a better and shorter cable and pesto - all wink out etc vanished

Your machine does qualify to run macOS Tahoe is compatible with these computers
Remember, Always make a Time Machine Backup before doing any upDates / upGrades
1) Test a short 3.3' (1m) certified high speed 8K HDMI 2.1 cable.
