How to disable Personal Hotspot password

You can't turn off the password for your Hotspot. And I can't even imagine why you would want to? If you could, virtually anyone within range of your phone could just log into your Hotspot and eat up a lot of data. You can turn OFF your Hotspot, but remove the password for it, you can't do.

You said you wanted to disable your Hotspot password. If all you want to do is change your Hotspot Password, do this:


Go to Settings > Cellular > Personal Hotspot, then tap "Wi-Fi Password". You can then delete the existing password and enter a new one using the on-screen keyboard; the new password must be at least 8 characters long and can include numbers, letters, and certain punctuation. After entering the new password, tap "Done" to save the changes.
