Unticking scheduled reminders doesn’t solve problems

I have a daily reminder set until May 2026 and want to remove all of them. Unticking scheduled reminders works but if i add one individual reminder to the calendar, the recurring reminders reappear! Help! How do I get rid of the recurring reminders on ical? There is no i next to scheduled reminders. Thanks
