Unable to add account first time starting mail app

Unable to add account first time starting mail app on new Macbook just updated to Sequoia 15.7.2.

A popup window "Choose a Mail account provider..." showed but there was nothing to choose from. There is no way to proceed but quit.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.7
