Compatibility of Pencil Pro changed for iPad Pro 11 inch 4th Generation?

Different models of Apple Pencil have different pairing interfaces and charging methods - and are therefore not interchangeable.

While the second generation Apple Pencil and Apple Pencil Pro are both charged via the compatible iPad's inductive charging dock, the charging coils are of a different design. Due to repositioning of the iPad's front-facing camera, that now occupies the internal cavity previously used to accommodate the inductive charging coils, the coil location has changed. Consequently, the internal design of the two Pencil models have also changed.

In summary, due to fundamental differences in the inductive charging hardware, any iPad that supports the second generation Apple Pencil fundamentally does not support Apple Pencil Pro - and vice versa.

If you own the 11″ iPad Pro 4th generation, you should use Apple Pencil (2nd generation) or Apple Pencil (USB-C) — not Pencil Pro.

I don't recall seeing compatibility errors within the referenced support page. Where, specifically, do you recall seeing incorrect information about compatibility of the Apple Pencil Pro?
