Caller ID says Maybe: and my name.
Why is the caller ID on iPhone 15 Plus all of a sudden says Maybe: and then my name. It misspells my last name, but why is it saying my name on an incoming call?

If an incoming call shows your name with “Maybe,” that’s unusual and worth paying attention to.
iPhones only use “Maybe” when they’re guessing a name from your past interactions. Seeing your name — someone you’re calling — appear as “Maybe” usually means the number isn’t saved properly or your phone has no confirmed link between that number and the person you’re trying to reach.
However, if this happens on incoming calls and it shows your name instead of a caller’s name, that’s even stranger. It could point to caller ID spoofing, where the incoming number is trying to appear familiar by mimicking your name.
