Pages documents fail to export and show autosave error

I keep trying to save and export documents I create in Pages but they will not export and I keep getting a message that says they can't be autosaved. It happens will all different documents. I have rebooted and updated software.

That tell-tale message about autosave not being supported should be a clue that you should revise your save location to one that does support autosave. This has nothing to do with rebooting your Mac or updating Pages.


Autosave is intended to work within the current user account on the internal Mac drive or Apple's iCloud Drive. It will not work on read-only mounted drives; is not guaranteed to work on third-party cloud services, and may or may not work on mounted NAS shares.
