The top of my screens just darkened today. The darkening is strongest at the top of the screen and gradually merges into the the background image about 1/3 of the way down. Happens to all screens. How can I get rid of this effect? I haven't changed the background screen.

First, try a forced restart. If that doesn't work take it in to the Apple store to have it looked at.
• Press and quickly release the volume up button
• Press and quickly release the volume down button
• Press and hold the side button.
• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
