With the iOS 26.1 update the app icons now have shading in them, this makes them look fuzzy or unclear. Can we go back to the previous un-shaded versions?

Even the default colored icons are supposed to look like frosted glass. That effect cannot be removed.

You can change the app icons to their default appearance by holding an an icon>“Edit Home Screen”>”Edit” (top left)>”Customize” and pressing “Default”
Have selected Default but the icons still have the shading in them or are they calling it frosting

Like I just said, yes.
Guess I’ll just hold off doing the update, maybe Apple will come to their senses and revert back to ‘non frosted’ for the next update.
