Mac Studio Spacebar not triggering Quick Look

Quick look is no longer functioning with my keyboard’s Spacebar. Instead this green (sometimes blue) highlight box shows up, and if you click the Spacebar again it functions as Enter and opens a file.

This is happening in all programs, including in my search engine search bar (DuckDuckGo). Instead of putting a space between text in some instances, it starts auto selecting links and changing the page I’m on. Screenshots attached.

Does anyone know how to make quick look function again. I’ve rebooted the computer several times, and the problem persists.
