PUBG Mobile — AirPods Pro 2 mic problem

Still looking for a solution to the AirPods Pro 2 mic not working correctly when playing PUBG Mobile on my iPad Pro (M4). I first joined other users reporting this same problem in 2024. When the mic is enabled, the audio gets distorted, experiences ‘static’, and at times all audio is lost. Disabling the mic and re-enabling sometimes provides temporary relief but never permanent. I’ve attempted various ‘fixes’ including disabling the Spatial Audio and head movement tracking with no success. All my devices have the latest OS and app updates. I’ve also used a second pair of AirPods Pro 2 and experienced the same results. When PUBG Mobile is played using my Bose QC 35 headphones, the audio works correctly. As a side note, I play PUBG Mobile online with a friend who uses the same model AirPods Pro 2 with an Android tablet and the audio works without any problems. So I’m a bit frustrated that I own Apples ‘best’ devices but this problem continues to persist. Hoping someone may have discovered a fix.
