Contacts app in macOS Tahoe displays white text

Why would the “community” close a subject that is not resolved and for which more information is available?

I tried to research why the Contacts app in Tahoe OS 26.1 displays in white, how to change that and what workarounds there may be. The thread "Color of text in Contacts - MacOS Tahoe ver. 26.0” was closed.

So, there are two issues

1) Why would the community close a discussion that is unresolved

2) Specifically for the issue, I’d like to contribute that the menu “Paste and Match Style” is the interim solution. Cut the address or phone number that is white text in Contacts and “Paste and Match Style” with the Edit menu. Heretofore, I was not aware that the “match style” referred to the DESTINATION style. I expected it to be the source style.

Keep your mac up to date, as the point-updates continue to roll out, with any luck the issue will be addressed
