2023 MBP running Tahoe 26.2 will not print to my network attached Brother laser printer

I print infrequently but have a network-attached Brother laser here at home that I've been using for about a year. Today I tried printing a document from Preview & a document from Safari & neither one of them will print. They do not show up in the printer queue nor do I see any messages concerning the files or the printer. The printer itself has been re-booted & just sits there like a work of art doing nothing but taking up space.

I did scan a document successfully on the same device so it appears my Mac & printer are talking and I can check the printer's status & supply levels.

Any suggestions or insights would sorely be appreciated.
