Presently, I am using an all called ONESAFE 5+ but am not happy with it. Can anyone suggest the best password manager app for Apple devices?

The built-in password manager and Passwords app, with iCloud Keychain enabled, works fine.
1Password (BEFORE they forced you to use their servers) was the most popular 3rd party password manager on the Mac. LastPass was maybe the 2nd most popular, right up until they go hacked.
Many 1Password users have stayed with them even though they are now a subscription model, and you have to use their servers to store your passwords.
While I am a 1Password user, I HAVE NOT upgraded to version 8, so I'm still on v7 and I have private password stores.
1Password does allow the consolidation of passwords and associated information such as the secret questions, credit cards, software licenses, secure notes, images (such as passport, drivers licence, medical insurance cards, etc...). It also integrates with Apple's password service, so it works in Safari and other places a password prompt occurs. It is very convenient.
What is a shame is that before Apple's Password app, was "Keychain Access" and it did have the ability to have "Secure Notes" stored in the keychain. That could have easily been adapted to storing lots of other miscellaneous information, but now they want you to split it between the Password app and Secure Notes. This does not make me happy, so I've been hanging onto 1Password version 7.
BitWarden has been mentioned in other circles, as well as KeePass. My experience with KeyPassXC at work is that it does not integrate with Safari. If you want web browser integration you have to use a 3rd party web browser to get a working plug-in.

That’s what a secure note is for.

You can link your account to Google and alternatively use Google password manager and passkeys
If i were you i would use a combo of the apple wallet app and the apple password app
Thank you for your reply!! You are talking to a very low tech person here🙄🤣. Is there a Google Password Manager in the App Store? I looked but didn’t see one and I don’t know how to link my Apple account to Google. I do have a Google email address but never use it.
It has taken me awhile to reply because I have been working through the suggestions. I decided to go with Bitwarden because it is free free free! I haven’t started adding to it but it looks like what I need. Thank you for your help.

Apple Wallet isn’t particularly useful for storing passwords, though the Apple Passwords app is central to the built-in password Apple manager.
