Hi,
I lost my second generation AirPods and they’re not showing a last location in the find my app, and I can’t seem to register them as lost on my iCloud?
I think they fell out of a coat pocket and someone has taken them, so I’m keen to prevent their using possible.

I'm afraid, you will have to wait until they come online again, to take any further steps like putting your contact information on them.
Yes but unfortunately it doesn’t have the lost section in the settings or anything other than remove (see below) which is where I got stuck.
Have you been able to locate them in the past, using Find My?
It might be, that they have to be able to connected to a network again, before other options are available.
Yes, last time I used find my was several weeks ago but I have before. I used them the night before but didn’t use find my, just for a call.
