17 Pro Max slow, Face ID, app bugs after iOS 26 update

I am using 17pro max.

After updating to iOS 26, is anyone else experiencing significant slowdowns and bugs?

· Overall phone performance has gotten slower.

· Face ID is noticeably delayed.

· WhatsApp calls are buggy—I often have to restart the app to get calls working.

My experience with iOS 18 on 16 pro max was much smoother. Is this widespread, or could it be device-specific? Has anyone found any reliable fixes or settings changes that help?”
