Search for mailboxes in email

Hello,

I have a new MacBook Air with Tahoe 26.x. I backed up my old MacBook Pro with Time Machine and restored it to my new MacBook Air.

When I search for a specific mailbox with the same name as the search query in my email, I see the emails related to the mailbox name, but the mailbox itself doesn't appear in the search results. I do see it on my old MacBook Pro with BigSur.

What's going on?

Thanks in advance.

Randy

I thought you meant something else.

You can’t search within a specific mailbox directly. (And you can’t search for a mailbox name.)

When you enter your search criteria, you’ll see that the search results are for all mailboxes (as indicated in the top left of the sidebar.) To refine the search results, select the specific mailbox in the sidebar.
