SUMMARIZE comes up when I click on a website

When I click on a website I get a SUMMARIZE sheet instead of taking me to the website. How do I get rid of this?

This is a Safari feature in macOS 15 Sequoia, not a bug.

What you’re seeing is Safari’s automatic page summary / Reader-style preview (part of Apple’s newer “smart” browsing features).

When the SUMMARIZE sheet appears:

>> Look at the address bar

>> Click the Reader icon (looks like a page or lines)

>>Choose “Hide Summary” or “Hide Reader”
