How to resolve auto-connect issues with non-Apple Bluetooth devices on macOS Tahoe 26.1?

Having an issue on auto connecting to non- apple bluetooth devices. It will auto-connect to bluetooth devices but not third party. I have reset the adapter and still have the same issue.

My MacBook Air is on Tahoe 26.1. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

What adapter did you reset? It may be that the manufacturer of that adapter has a software/driver/firmware update that you need to apply, I'd suggest checking their website/support page for the device.

Update to Tahoe 26.2 and test again.
