I am using a macbook air, macOS mojave, version 10.14.5. My problem is that my airdrop is not working. It won't change from "Visible by: No One" no matter how many times I do it. I have checked that its not any other device because multiple IPhones have tried to airdrop to it, but have not been able to see it as an . option. Is there any way I can fix this?

Boot into Safe Mode and try making the AirDrop change from there.. Reboot normally and try again.
NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 10 minutes as it's doing some system cache cleaning, volume verifying and directory repairing.
