After installing OS X 10.14, my iCloud keychain stopped functioning. In system preferences it is the only iCloud item not ticked. Upon ticking it and entering Apple ID password, the system just hangs and will not let me go any further. In fact, system preferences appears to crash (The only way I can quit it is via Activity Monitor). Any ideas of how to get my keychain up and running?

You can re-install this on top of your existing 10.14.5
