Mac book Pro fan problem

What does it sound like when the fan is going bad on a MacBook pro? Mine appears to be making a clicking noise and then it appears to run but its noisy.

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14

A clicking noise could indicate a failing fan or something stuck in the fan. If your laptop uses a hard drive, then the noise could be coming from the hard drive indicating a failure very soon.
