MACBOOK AIR FAN

Hi,

I have a MacBook Air purchased less than a year ago and am suddenly experiencing issues with the fan. It comes on frequently and for long periods of time. The noise is driving me nuts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There often are clues to symptoms within Mac. Includes fans, power

and others; view Activity Monitor, within Utility folder or Launchpad.

• Activity Monitor User Guide (table of contents) - Apple Support

https://support.apple.com/guide/activity-monitor/toc

For better disclosure of your specific mac, see About this Mac, for

hardware and system details; points of reference in product line.

Check for 'runaway' sections of the macOS, those can be 'force-quit'

from within Activity Monitor, among other things. (+Try Safe mode.)
