Cant delete item in menu bar

Hi........I have a 27" 5k mac 2017 running High Sierra.

A while ago I downloaded memory clean 2...used it a couple of times and then it started playing up so I removed it by dragging the app into clean my mac 2. As far as I can recall there wasnt a dedicated uninstaller available.

Memory Clean 2 doesnt now show up as being on the mac but there is an icon on the macs menu bar that I cant get rid of.Theres the memory clean icon followed by 4.38gb which I think relates to the last time I used it....the amount of space it cleaned up. see attached screenshot

If I put my cursor over it I just get the dreaded spinning wheel so I cant drag it into the trash and nothing shows up if I go into force quit.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of it?

Many thanks

iMac 27" 5K, macOS 10.13
