I need help with my menu bar. It does not hide automatically. When I go to 'System Preferences' and 'General', it does not give me the tick box with 'Automatically hide and show the menu bar'.

Was that an option in Yosemite, I don't think so, might be wrong though.
My menu bar does not hide and does not have the option to hide
