Copying audiobook to iMac from iPhone XS

I have an audiobook on my iPhone - I cannot seem to access it on my new iMac - it appears in my iTunes library, but says it cannot locate the original file when I try to play it

Was the audiobook purchased in the iTunes Store?

Yes. Redownload it to the iMac. Redownload apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books from the App Store, iTunes Store, and Apple Books - Apple Support
No. Such items cannot be transferred from an iOS device to a Mac.
