You can migrate the iPhoto library to Photos.
If you took a backup of your system before you upgraded (always a prudent precaution), you can restore from that backup.

You are meant to do your research before upgrading, you should stand at the back of the class and have a good think about things. Apple stopped supporting iPhoto 4 years ago.
