Apple store & iTunes gift card
I just bought a gift card and when I try to redeem it it gives me a message that says needs to be a valid code, what do I do?

What type of gift card is it ? If an iTunes or App Store card : If you can't redeem your App Store & iTunes Gift Card, Apple Music Gift Card, or content code - Apple Support
If it's an Apple Store card it can't be used with iTunes
