Problem with full screen Youtube on Safari

Hello!,

I've a problem with Youtube on Safari (macOS Catalina).

I open youtube and everything works perfectly. However, if I open another tab and then I go back to that of youtube, if I put a video in fullscreen I can't use the pointer. For example, I can't change the resolution of the video or skip advertisements. I see the pointer but the click doesn't work. This only happen in full screen.

The problem is solved if I open YouTube in a new tab.

Thank You!

Hello vanzo95

if your cursor is unable to click (it has no effect) when watching a video full screen do this steps

  1. pull down the “Safari” menu and choose “Preferences
  2. Select the “Search” tab.
  3. Uncheck the box next to “Show Favorites” under the 'Smart Search Field' section.
  4. Close Preferences as usual.
