Mac apps crush by themselves simultaneously

Hello there :)

I own a macbook pro 13 2017, 2.5 GH, i7. running macOS Catalina.

It was boxed till a year ago, and after activated all wend smooth and great.

about a month or so, the apps started crushing at the same time,

apps like chrome and spotify just crashed and firxefox and photoshop are asking if i'm sure i wish to leave the program (due to multiple tabs or unsaved work)

In addition, when i use to shut down the mac it would reopen with all the tabs i used and all the other programs, that have changed as well, i believe around the same time.

Thank you for reading,

Be well,

Daniel

Crashing ?

To trouble shoot further you can:

— Try a SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5-15 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc. Login and test. Reboot and test as caches get rebuilt.

In Safe mode third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled, it removes malware, etc hampering smooth operation, however a reboot will put it back to normal mode.

This test will tell you if third party interference; extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

— Test issue in another user (or guest user) account  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204443

This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.

Hello Friend,

Thank you for the reply :)

*Crashing indeed.

I tried both options, when i loged in from a new user, the issue still occurred and the Firefox gave a notification to close all the tabs like in the regular user. the difference that in the new user it didn't crashed chrome without a notification.

Unfortunately, even is safe mode the same is happening.

Any other possibilite in mind?

thank you
