I purchased an iPad Pro to use as my main device for my business. As such, I would like to send mails from my business account which include my contact details and my company logo as I have always had on my MacBook Pro. I am hitting my head against a brick wall as nothing seems to work - the work around I have found through a web search haven’t been effective. I have tried copying and pasting the logo into the signature section of the mail settings but it inputs an exceptionally large picture which doesn’t show when I mail. Any ideas?

iPad Pro, iPadOS 13

Unfortunately, iPadOS/iOS doesn’t yet provide the means to include any graphics or images in email signatures.

At present, when using the native Mail App, your signature is limited to simple text.

This may seem like a really small thing but to a small business owner who wants her mails to be professional - it is really limiting. I purchased the iPad Pro on the basis of it being effective as an alternative to the MacBook Pro - the advert says - ‘your next computer is not a computer’ the (fairly pricey) addition of the new and excellent keyboard with trackpad - all lend themselves so well to the business environment. Surely there is a development here that can be done? People seem to have been asking for this for some time - is it ever going to be possible?

Thanks

As all contributors here are end-user customers of Apple, just like you, we have no knowledge of what may (or may not) be within Apple’s product developement roadmap.

Our own idea of what constitutes an acceptable level of fuctionality for business purposes may differ from the optimistic advertising depicted by Apple.

There really is nothing else that can be offered other than suggesting that you make your voice heard via the feedback channels - and perhaps look at other email clients that, perhaps, better fit your specific needs.

Sorry I cannot offer anything more tangible. I hope this is in some way helpful.

What are you using for your business email? iCloud email is not really suited for business use.

If you’re using a third party email address and service, there may be alternative email apps that would support signatures. If using an MS Office365 business account, the app Mail+ supports graphics in signatures. But there are many alternative mail clients in the App Store that support features that the iOS mail app does not. Google has its own Gmail app for example. And there are third party email clients that should work fine with any IMAP or POP email service provider’s service.
