My MacBook Air has suddenly stopped taking screenshots. Whenever I press the keys for the shortcut I can hear the camera noise but it doesn't take a photo because I can't find it anywhere. The settings still have screenshots set up in the shortcuts and I've restarted my computer, how can I fix this?

Press Command+Shift+5 and choose options at the bottom within the proposed screenshot. In options, select the location for your screenshots. I recommend choosing your Desktop so that you can easily access your screenshot and then also delete them as needed.
