Creating a form using only PAGES, possible or not possible?

I have looked for this question as a previous post and do not find it.

I would like to make a form as I was able to do in MSWord which makes making a form so easy using their form toolbar and being able to lock the document except for the fields to be completed as a form.

Doesn't Pages offer some way of creating a form as easily?

I am not interested in making a document that then requires to using an Adobe app or something else to complete it.

Please advise. Thank you in advance.

Well, Pages gives you a good variety of templates. If you don't find one you are looking for, you may have to make the format yourself.

Not sure if I answered your question but I hope I did. I'm here if you need anything else.

It is a form that I will use myself to complete for arriving clients, personal data in standard fields to be completed for all clients. Having it in form layout makes it so much faster to complete the form, especially when in a hurry, as opposed to tabbing or moving the cursor.

Pages is the wrong tool if you are looking to create form-based documents, because it does not provide any form creation tools, as you would find in the free LibreOffice, or MS Word applications. The latter two products would allow you control your tab order too.
