Camera app is crashing each time I try to snap a photo.
Recent problem, not related to any event that I know of such as several updates, one restore, new phone.

Hey there, Kenneth.
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! From what you mentioned, it sounds like an issue with either the camera itself, or a conjunction of the camera or app. We'd be glad to see what we can do to help you out.
Is the only app that exhibits this behavior the Camera app, or do you notice this in other apps that use the camera. You mentioned a few different steps having taken place already, such as restoring and completing updates. Did you restore the device in an attempt to solve this or for another reason? When you restored, did you restore to factory settings or did you restore to a specific backup? This is important as restoring to a backup while testing might bring back the issue. the best testing is to have a backup and then set the device up as new to see if the behavior with the camera is present still.
How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch will walk you through creating a backup and Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings will make sure you're able to get the iPhone restored for testing.
Take care.
