I don't have many apps running yet the fans are running all the time. I checked with Activity monitor and it shows that my CPU (i9 processors) and Energy usage is much less than 50%. And the computer is not getting very hot either. That the fans run all the time is specially pronounced when streaming video, including video from Zoom. (My 2012 MacBook Pro with i7 processor does not have the same issue...) Like to know a hint on how to fix this.

Try connecting the charger to the right side USB-C ports. I know this sounds weird, but a reputable source reported issues like this when using the power adapter on the left side ports.
Also try an SMC reset.

Crazy. It is connected on the right side. Maybe I should try the left side!
It appears the issue is Safari. I typically have Facebook open. By moving Facebook to Chrome, the fans stoped running all the time.
