how do I get rid of this **** red exclamation mark?

I’ve logged in and logged out
ive turned off iPad and turned back on
I’ve deleted all text messages on all devices
I’ve turned off notifications and turned back on
I’ve tried every fix I’ve read online, nothing removes it

I am having a difficult time understanding your question. Could you please restate your question while providing as much detail as you can?
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, select your Apple ID there, log out, log back in, and see if the ❗️ clears.
Any add-on security apps, add-on VPN clients, or similar apps, installed here? If so, remove those, and try again.
No addons. I just moved from iPhone 7 to 8 now this has happened. Still have both phones so trying everything on 3 devices is driving me insane
