How do I share files between Mac and laptop when the laptop doesn't use a password?

I'm trying to set up file sharing between my iMac and my laptop running Windows 10. I've gone through the whole process of enabling file sharing on both devices and getting the Windows laptop's IP address, and when I try to connect to the Windows laptop from the Mac, it wants the laptop's password. The problem is that the laptop doesn't use a password, it uses a Windows Hello PIN and the Mac doesn't like that. What can I do? What can I put in the "Password" field or how else can I connect the computers? Thank you all in advance.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15
