Disappearing files on iCloud

Following a recent Numbers update, all the files on iCloud in my numbers folder disappeared. Can anyone make useful suggestions about this, please?

MacBook, macOS 10.15

iCloud files disappearing I keep having Numbers files disappearing from iCloud. They are there one day, the next day they are gone, and don't show up when I go to iCloud->Settings->Advanced->Restore Files. I have also gone into iCloud drive and hit Recently Deleted and the missing files do not show up there. This is so frustrating! Does anyone have any suggestions?

Numbers docs go into iCloud but not into the Numbers folder into which they are saved Have been working on extremely involved house plans but every time I save them to a Numbers folder and power off...the next time powering up, the file is not in Numbers. When all Documents or entire computer are searched, the file does not exist. If by mistake it was deleted, shouldn't it show up in iCloud under "Recently Deleted?" It does not.

Numbers file disappeared in iCloud One of my critical Numbers spreadsheets disappeared in iCloud. Other files remained OK. I have now downloaded my remaining files and saved them back to my computer, and shut off 'sharing' which is a pain because now the files do not synch. I feel like now I will never be able to trust any cloud type of storage again . Does anyone know how to retrieve files which disappear into Apple's icloud? Support portals are confusing and absolutely no help.
