Upgrade iCloud family plan to 2tb

When upgrading iCloud storage hitting upgrade doesn’t give choices of 2 tb it just states in red stop using family plan. If I open that does it then give me choices to buy 2tb plan. I don’t want to accidentally delete all my family’s files.

iPhone 8, iOS 13

Sounds like you're already on a Family Sharing plan I'm assuming? The 200GB? You should be able to upgrade from the 200GB to the 2TB without having to stop the current plan. Are you certain to be following the steps here - Share an iCloud storage plan with your family - Apple Support?
