Change Default Settings for Guest User?

Hi all,

I'm trying to change some default settings for my Guest User account on my iMac - the desktop image, which apps remain in the dock, and which apps open at startup.

Is it possible to change these? (I'm using High Sierra 10.13.6.)

I've tried changing them while logged in as the Guest, but of course settings reset once I log out. I've also scoured the community discussions and have only seen instructions for older versions of the OS.

Please help!

I don't think you can do this but you can create a new user account and set it to 'Standard' instead of 'Admin'.

And you can even call it 'Guest' I think.

You can then set any settings you like on that account.
