Silent while locked

I can’t toggle off “do not disturb… while screen is locked“. I am missing important calls and it’s frustrating. My phone is not set on silent. I don’t have the little moon symbol on. The “do not disturb“ is toggled OFF (light gray) under settings/do not disturb. Please help!

If DND is turned off, then that setting doesn't do anything at all.

That's not the problem.

Check to make sure the ringer volume is set high enough and check Settings>Phone>Silence unknown callers.

If you have that turned on and a call comes in from a number not in your contacts, your phone will not ring.
