Unable to edit previously saved text boxes in pages

Hi.

I have a Pages document that I am editting from 4 months ago in Pages (deselected Document Body as I am predominantly using text boxes). Suddenly I can't go back to previous boxes and edit or even move them (only the most recent ones). There was a message that asked something about saving or reverting...can't remember quit what, but since then I am unable to edit. Please help!

Can you select one of the text boxes that you cannot edit?

If so, what handles do you see at the corners of the box— "▢" or "x"?

"x" indicates a object is Locked.

Go to the Arrange menu, and choose Unlock.

If you cannot select the box, it may be in the 'background."

Go to the bottom of the Arrange menu, choose 'Section Masters…, then choose Make Master objects Selectable.

Regards,

Barry
