Cannot activate blood oxygen

Hi all,

When I open the blood oxygen app on the Apple Watch it redirect me to the iPhone.

Unfortunately, I do not have the Blood Oxygen 'App' or any other function in the Apple Watch App (on my iPhone).

Even the search is without any result.

Yeah unfortunately the article:

Measuring your blood oxygen levels with the Blood Oxygen app on Apple Watch Series 6 - Apple Support

Seems to be a bit misleading.


Apple Supports YouTube video has the correct set up instructions:


Open the Apple Watch App.

Tap Blood Oxygen

Tap Enable.


Make sure you DON'T run the beta version of iOS as users has reported that it causes issues with activating blood oxygen:
